Throughout her career, Alex has had the privilege of supporting some of the most ambitious and demanding CEOs, executives, and aspiring leaders. She has not only leadership, but also sleeves-up experience throughout business operations and has worked in a wide variety of industries including technology, engineering, manufacturing, and consumer products. She leverages this broad yet deep experience to support the executives she serves as thought partner, blind spot coverer, and coach.
Prior to founding her own consulting practices, Alex was the Chief Operating Officer of Oco, Inc. a leading, subscription-based, business analytics company which was acquired by Deloitte in 2011 and renamed Deloitte Managed Analytics. As operational lead she was responsible internally for the success of the client integration, technology, human resources, and finance teams and externally for the Board, Investor, and Partner relationships. This experience was the proving ground for her philosophy of authentic, communicative leadership acumen and the value of creating a culture of meaning.
Alex holds a BA in English Literature from Smith College and received her Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). She maintains her accreditation as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and has earned the following professional certifications: Energy Leadership Index™ Master Practitioner (ELI-MP), COR.E Dynamics Specialist, and EQ-i 2.0/EQ 360 Practitioner.
As an endurance athlete, Alex spends a lot of time practicing the fundamentals: setting effective goals, rigorous discipline, feedback analysis, and practice, practice, practice.
